Donate
Wayfinder is a 501c3, and relies on generous donations to help facilitate youth programming. Donations support our work and allow us to provide low- or no- cost public programming, as well as need-based scholarships to our summer camps.
Donations
Your donations will directly contribute to our ability to continue to run life-changing immersive LARP programs for kids, teens and adults in the Hudson Valley. Donations will be used for, but are not limited to, our Hero Fund Scholarship program, subsidizing the cost of public programming, improvements to our warehouse and Adventure Game production quality, and providing support to our full time staff.

Business Sponsorships
Sponsorship money goes towards supporting year round work including events, school programs, staff pay, our scholarship fund, and all of the ways that Wayfinder Adventures works daily to engage our local communities and improve access to varied and high quality childcare and youth development programming. We structure our programming as seasons instead of as individual events and so all sponsorships will be geared towards a full season (year long running from September-August). This means that your gift will sponsor a year’s worth of imaginative play for kids in and out of schools across the Hudson Valley and beyond!

The Jasmine Fund: Increasing Program Accessibility
Jasmine made the incredible choice to use her Make-A-Wish experience to help us increase the accessibility of our programming, build the necessary staffing capacity to support growth, and broaden the scope of who in our programming and beyond has access to the creative toolbox we have built over the years. In Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley’s 40 year history they have granted over 3,500 wishes, and of those less than 1% have been “Wishes to Give,” such as Jasmine’s, to support organizations or projects that are important for the child and use their wish to build something beyond themselves. We are deeply honored and moved by the compassion, selflessness, and generosity that Jasmine brings to the table, both in the creation of this fund and in her continued work with our organization as a staff member.

The Hero Fund: A Financial Aid Program
This program allows more access to community spaces and different kinds of programming regardless of financial status. Expanding access to our programming is important to us as an organization, and so we endeavor to grant as many Hero Fund requests as we can, spending the full balance of the Hero Fund every summer.
While Wayfinder is annually the largest individual donor, Wayfinder staff and community members make up the bulk of the donors to the Hero Fund. The help and commitment to the work that we do is something that we are endlessly grateful for. Please consider donating, and know that you are contributing to a fund that has made transformative experiences available to kids for over a decade.
Please note that donations made to Wayfinder Adventures are separate from donations made specifically to the Hero Fund- to donate directly to the Hero Fund please mail a check with “Hero Fund” in the memo line to our office, or give us a call. Donations made to Wayfinder Adventures are also used for a broader variety of purposes than the Hero Fund, which goes directly to covering camp tuition.
